In addition to the invited lectures presented on the program, we will have electronic posters presented throughout the meeting during breaks and during the breakfast sessions. The Organizing Committee encourages you to submit your latest and best work to the Program Committee. Previously presented, unpublished work may be submitted.
ePoster abstracts may be submitted by any physician, scientist or health care practitioner. Please indicate by a brief e-mail note/separate cover letter, submitted along with your abstract, which author will be presenting the abstract. Abstracts, should be submitted electronically as a MS-Word document, are limited to 250 words and should include authors, title, institution, city and country of origin in the following format:
Title: Capitalize first letter in each word. Double-space after title.
Authors’ Names: First name (middle initial if desired) Last name (asterisk if not a member). Do not add degree, as M.D., Sc.D., etc. Please underline the name of the member serving as corresponding author who should be notified regarding the status of the abstract. This person will be responsible for notifying the co-author(s) of the Program Committee’s decision. Double-space after the list of names.
Body of Abstract: Do not indent. Single-space within the body of the abstract, but double-space between paragraphs. Underline Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions (if citing). 250 words, 1 page or less, 1 table OR 1 figure allowed.
After the body of the abstract, double-space and list the origin of the paper, including the e-mail address of the member who is corresponding author, e.g., Division of GI Surgery, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC 29245 email@example.com.
