The Second International Chronic Pancreatitis Symposium (aka CPS2018) is now over. Held at Hyatt House in downtown Charleston, this conference was a huge success by all subjective, non-validated criteria. One hundred and seventy-one registrants participated in the three-day symposium led by 32 moderators and presenters from all continents except Antarctica. These incredible speakers shared their knowledge through insightful presentations during this fantastic event. Scientists, physicians, surgeons, gastroenterologists, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, physician assistants and patient advocates, as well as some patients, participated in this program designed to move the art and science of caring for patients with chronic pancreatitis forward.
We will always be grateful for our world experts whom came to Charleston for the meeting and to all of the participants whom travelled from around the globe to give so much meaning to CPS2018.
Please return to this site soon for wonderful post-conference content. In the meantime, take a look at some fantastic pictures from the event.
